I produced most of these drawings in my final (third) year of study at the Queensland College of Art, in 1982.

The last two figures are from a drawing workshop that I attended in the mid-1990s.

Mostly, these works haven’t weathered the intervening forty years very well.  I produced many of them  as exercises rather than as finished works, so they were drawn on poor-quality paper with no intention of them having a long life. Now it’s mostly those exercises that are my favourites!

None of them have been stored well – perhaps I didn’t value them as much as I do now.  At least now that the images are digitised they can’t get any worse.  Please look past the damage to the essence of the art work.

Select one of the tabs above to see a category of Chris Andrews' work examples.

The Writing tab has examples of technical writing; selecting one of these examples will open it in a new browser tab.

The other tabs each have examples of a category technical illustration, or other work.

Each tab contains several thumbnail images; selecting one of these will open it. Once you have viewed it, you can use the control buttons in the lower right-hand corner to either close it, or to start a slide show of all of the images in that tab. During the slide show, you can use the pause control button in the lower right-hand corner to pause it.

If you hover the cursor over the image, next and previous arrows will appear to enable you to step through the images.
